Facility Benefits from Site Improvements

Gausman & Moore provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for this project that involved complete HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical, IT, alarms, mass notification, and access control design.

High efficiency natural gas boilers, air-cooled chiller, and VAV air handling unit will be used. DDC control for HVAC systems will be part of design. OMS building includes infloor radiant and overhead infrared heating, CO sensing, make up air ventilation for maintenance bay.

Gausman & Moore designed an 89kVA photovoltaic array as a contract modification. The array was designed with special siting and mounting details to enhance site aesthetics. The PV array is intended to provide 17.5 percent of the building’s annual energy usage.

The project included 10 contract modifications, resulting from client scope revisions. This included telecommunications, LEED, floor plan changes, energy reduction initiatives, wind turbine feasibility study, photovoltaic array addition, and record drawings.

Exceptional client service, intelligent engineering.
