In his 11 years at Gausman & Moore, Anthony Basden (Electrical Engineer, Roseville office) has regularly demonstrated exceptional engineering skills, a passion for learning, a strong commitment to clients and coworkers, and has emerged as a company leader. Anthony is being recognized for those contributions by being named an Associate Shareholder.
“People look to Anthony for answers and solutions. Clients request him on projects,” said G&M President Ed Studniski. “This promotion is both recognition of Anthony’s work, and also an opportunity to continue expanding his leadership role at Gausman & Moore.”
Anthony’s leadership has been evident on the many projects he’s managed. Eric Allen (Project Manager, Simon Property Group) praised Anthony’s work on the Stanford Shopping Center remodeling project in Palo Alto, CA. Allen said Anthony displayed competence far beyond his years of experience on this large and complex mall remodel project.
Anthony has also played a vital role managing multiple Target projects and coordinating the electrical engineering teams. On every project, he maintains high ethical standards that are greatly appreciated by both clients and coworkers. A frequent nominee for Employee of the Month, Anthony is continuously bringing new ideas to improve project and workflow efficiency.
“We are confident that Anthony will continue to expand his leadership role and contribute to Gausman & Moore’s direction and vision,” Studniski said. “We are excited to hear his ideas for enhancing project delivery services and company operations.”
His commitment to leadership extends beyond G&M as well. Anthony participates in the Leadership Growth Group and American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Minnesota. In April he attended the ACEC National Conference in Washington DC, an experience that was made possible through a $1,000 “Emerging Leaders” scholarship from ACEC MN.
When he’s not working, Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife, Nikara, and their 7-year-old daughter, Joslyn. Anthony also played kickball for the Mean Green Kickball Team (sponsored by G&M), which featured G&M employees and members of US Green Building Council MN.
“Anthony will help Gausman & Moore become a stronger organization,” Studniski said. “We are extremely pleased to recognize his outstanding efforts.”
