G&M Raises More Than $2,400 for Minnesota Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

The chilly air didn’t seem quite as inconvenient as thousands of people raised their lanterns to the sky and marched through Target Field on Oct. 14 to help fight cancer and honor those who fought or are still fighting their battle against the deadly disease.

G&M Helps Sponsor Elementary School Fundraiser

On Feb. 9 Oak View hosted the first-ever Husky Glow Run, the culmination of a two-week event that served as both a fundraiser and learning experience. Gausman & Moore was proud to help sponsor the event for the school where Matt Tisdell’s (Electrical Engineering, Roseville office) two daughters attend. G&M’s contribution helped pay for the T-shirts that every student received and wore during the fun run.

Duluth Staff Members Participate in Scholarship Fundraiser

It was a great day for golf at the AIA Northern MN golf outing at Enger Park Golf Course in Duluth on Friday, July 14. Our own Jude Homola (Mechanical Engineering, Duluth Office) and Bryn Johnston (Mechanical Engineering, Duluth Office) participated in the event, which helps raise money for the AIA Northern MN scholarship fund.

Gov. Dayton Appoints Dave Blume to State Board

Dave Blume (Partner, Roseville Office) was recently appointed to a state board by Gov. Mark Dayton. Blume, an electrical engineer, was appointed to the Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design. Dave will serve a four-year term.

Congrats Emerging Professionals Mean Green Kickball Team!

Wow! The Mean Green Kickball Team ended up 3rd in their League! They're already looking forward to playing next season. As our EP Committee chair said, "We really started to come together as a team towards the end of the season, so I definitely think it's worth doing another season!"

G&M Helps Address Global Hunger

One out of every nine people on the planet goes hungry every day. To help address this problem, more than 40 people from Gausman & Moore (employees and families) volunteered at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) in Coon Rapids, MN on the evening of April 24. For 90 minutes, our group joined forces with other people from throughout the Twin Cities to prepare meals that will be shipped directly to starving children in Belize. Along with Belize, FMSC sends food to children in nearly 70 countries throughout the world.
