What’s your favorite part of the job? One of my favorite parts about my job is the satisfaction I get from helping others succeed. Whether I am helping an external client with a new building system or a teammate understand a concept, it fires me up! Because of this, it seems like there are endless opportunities for me to do what I enjoy the most. I also thoroughly enjoy the early stages of design. The early stages offer the most opportunity to innovate and have an impact on what owners get for their investment. It’s also the time when I get to formulate a plan for the success of the project. Project planning, process, and project vision are very intriguing to me. To wrap it up, it’s the people I work with. They Rock!

What do you like to do when you’re not working? If I am not working, I am usually spending time with my wife, Elana, and our three daughters, Kemella, Rozalee, and Eavie. We enjoy going to church, visiting friends, going on walks, riding bikes, going out west where I grew up, and finding the best coffee shops. If I am not with them, I am probably in the woods hunting or fishing.

What’s something about you that not many people know? I have written hundreds of poems!

Exceptional client service, intelligent engineering.
