Gausman & Moore originated 80 years ago in the First National Bank building in downtown St. Paul. Now, based in Roseville, our corporate headquarters features four of the firm’s Partners and other corporate services. The 30+ employee office is also the hub for our national retail clients and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project teams. For five decades, Gausman & Moore was a 10-person firm that focused primarily on education and government projects. In the firm’s sixth decade the staff grew to 70 people and two branch offices. This included work outside the Midwest region and the firm’s largest project to date – the $90 million Target Center, home of the Minnesota Timberwolves.Staff members in the Roseville office regularly travel to project sites around the country, while other staff members remain in the office to keep project production moving forward. Long-term relationships with large clients such as Target Corporation and the Louisville District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are a testament to our commitment to quality services and client-focus.To ease the burden of hectic project work, a long-standing tradition involves recognizing staff members’ birthdays with their favorite treat. Superior performance by individuals in all offices is honored through the Employee of the Month and annual Most Valuable Player awards. Gausman & Moore’s commitment to being a family-friendly organization is realized through annual holiday and summer parties. The firm’s Partners have encouraged entrepreneurial behavior throughout the company’s history. Data Core Engineers was a start-up IT consulting and design firm. Branch offices have been opened in Duluth, Brainerd, Portland, and Los Angeles. Laurentian Engineering Group LLC partnered G&M with a heavy industrial engineering firm from Thunder Bay, Ontario. G&M staff were encouraged to develop an add on software to Revit called the Mechanical Productivity Pack.
Our Roseville office is located just minutes from both downtown Minneapolis and St Paul. Together they comprise the Twin Cities, one of the most vibrant metro areas in the United States.
Within fifteen minutes from our headquarters, you can take in a world-class orchestra performance, check out a theater show (we have the second-most theater seats per capita, after New York), enjoy major professional sports (we have the Twins, MLB; Vikings, NFL; Wild, NHL; Timberwolves, NBA; and the Lynx, WNBA), or simply explore the greatest urban park system in the country.
The Twin Cities area is home to over 3.5 million people from all around the world. There is a staggering variety of restaurants that explore world cuisine from Tibet to Thailand, from Spain to Somalia, and from Belgium to Bolivia. There is a thriving arts scene. And Minnesota Nice is a real thing.
